Geoffrey Costa's free-spirited creativity began in his youth, producing compelling works using a slew of materials including acrylics, oil, and unconventional mediums such as hardware, sawdust, and glass. Embracing an unrestrained approach, his art resounds with action wrought onto large canvases, delivering a fascinating spectacle of textures, colors, and abstract forms, merging in chaotic harmony. His expressive pieces scream with passionate intensity, liberating whispers from the subconscious into mesmerizing patterns that beguile as much as they provoke thought.

Geoffrey S. Costa is a contemporary painter whose work explores abstract expression using vibrant colors, irresistible texture, and a variety of materials and techniques.

Costa was born and raised in Oxford, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art from Miami University. Geoff currently resides in Vero Beach, Florida and has lived in Tucson, Arizona, Cincinnati, Ohio and Denver, Colorado. 
When not in the barn painting, Geoffrey S. Costa enjoys learning chess, practicing ukulele, and modifying his car. He is most happy at home with his wife and five pets.
